The AGRED Foundation was formed to raise and use funds for scientific research and other activities in the field of conservation biology for the purpose of securing the extension of habitat for all wildlife. To date, the organization has conducted no activities other than those attendant to its organization. It is anticipated that the organization will receive donations and make grants to recognized public charities. It is not expected that the organization will conduct direct charitable activities itself. The benefit it will provide will be funds to worthy charitable organizations which will use the funds in their own work. Its officers and directors will attempt to identify appropriate charitable organizations and evaluate what size contributions would be appropriate, considering both the Foundation’s assets and the need of the public charity.
